The Stinky Creek
 Jazz Band

Founded in 1869 by Lester Hankins, the Stinky Creek Saloon is one of the oldest business in Stinky Creek.

In those days, the Saloon served beer and whiskey to hardworking men who needed hardworking drinks. When Crappie County went dry in 1973, the Saloon almost closed down, but owner Bud Henderson, the great-

great-great twice removed third cousin of Lester Hankins, transformed himself from a hard-working bartender to a gourmet cowboy chef. Now, the Saloon rustles up some of the finest cowboy grub this side of Dallas.

The Saloon is open every day from noon until midnight. Jeb the Piano Man plays Monday through Friday from 9 p.m. to midnight, and the Stinky Creek Jazz Band takes over Saturdays and Sundays at the same time.
